This cabinet charts my journey to the Krenov School. It was inspired by one of James Krenov’s cabinets that appeared in his book, Worker in Wood. It was started during one of the school’s summer workshops, Create a Cabinet. Its drawer bottom is the maple from my perfect board exercise, from Tools and Techniques. It was the last piece of furniture I brought back home to Algos. It remained unfinished until I returned to the school and became the raffle prize for the 2018 Krenov School Midwinter Show.
